All 881 drivers in the world championship from 1950 to 2026 are listed, one page of 200 at a time. 63 of them hold no race result: they entered a weekend and never started, and they are kept with a measured zero rather than deleted, which is why a Starts column of 0 appears at all (12 of the 200 rows on this page). Wins, podiums and poles come from race results only; the sport ran no sprint before 2021 and this archive holds the Grand Prix result alone, so a driver’s Pts column is the points scored in Grands Prix and not the official championship total. The two disagree on 139 of 3,129 driver-seasons: 68 between 1950 and 1990, when the championship counted only a driver’s best results, and 71 from 2021 onward, when sprint points began landing in the standings and not in the result. Points are printed as the source records them, including the 38 of 26,048 entries that are fractional: half points for a race stopped early and shared points for a shared car, spread from 1952 to 2021. Championship counts exclude 2026, which is loaded only as far as the rounds that have been run. A search matches the whole name with accents folded, so “raikkonen” finds Räikkönen, and it is capped at 100 results and says so when the cap bites. The picture is the lead image of that driver’s Wikipedia article, and it is shown only where the image was MEASURED to hold a face at portrait scale rather than assumed to be one because it sits on a driver’s page: 78 of those articles lead with a photograph of a CAR, George Abecassis’s with a 1950 Le Mans Aston Martin, and 44 more with something that is neither. Those 122 are left blank on purpose, because a car captioned with a man’s name is a wrong picture and a wrong picture is worse than none. 385 drivers have no freely licensed image at all. The blanks reserve the portrait’s width and paint nothing, so an absent picture is silence and not a grey box. 310 of the 444 pictures this section shows are under CC BY or CC BY-SA and carry an attribution condition: each is credited by author and licence on that driver’s own page, with a link to the file it came from.
