Kickoffs are Eastern. The stored timestamp is the local day and the local hour: on all 3,679 fixtures that also carry a UTC instant, the stored date equals that instant converted to Eastern, against 3,371 for UTC, and the hour distribution runs 11:00 to 23:00 with a peak at 13:00. A fixture stored at exactly midnight carries no time and says so rather than claiming a midnight kickoff. Season type comes from the fixture where the source recorded one and from the box score where it did not; 3,851 of 47,590 fixtures carry neither and read “season type not recorded”. A greyed row has no final score, which in the season in progress does not always mean the game was not played: the score feed runs behind the box scores. The date strip shows a fortnight either side of the chosen day.
